The Stuff remains one of the most polarizing cult classics of the 1980s, and this Arrow Video release does it full justice. Fans of B-movie satire will find themselves engrossed by the film’s razor-sharp social commentary and gleefully gruesome special effects. From start to finish, Arrow delivers a package that celebrates both the movie’s dark humour and its enduring charm. Having the pre-release version included is just the icing on the cake.

Never heard of the film, even though I was in my 20's in the 1980's. But I thought I'd give it a go at age 65 now. But it's like a film with whole scenes cut out making it a rather illogical, full of contrived coincidences, and a mish-mash mess, full of scenes with daft character motivations. Some B-movies can be unintentionally funny to re-deem them. But I was just looking at my watch with this one. There are better movies and even old TV series more deserved to be released on 4K. Sorry, but not for me.
